Journal of law

The journal of law is an academic, refereed, quarterly and published by the Academic Publication Council – Kuwait University since 1977. The journal encourages submission of manuscripts in Arabic, English and French in the fields of law and comparative Sharia`s studies.

The aim of the journal is to promote legal thought through the publication of: innovative and academic researches, comments on juridical verdicts, and to review local legislations, agreements and treaties concerning the State of Kuwait. In addition the journal presents abstracts of the theses (M.SC, PH.D), which fall, within its fields. The journal is listed in a number of international databases and indexes. The journal has released 93 issues and 15 supplements, which are targeted to the professionals, academicians, lawyers, judges, and decision makers..
